Our Purpose

Parable Ministries' purpose is to provide teaching, counseling and encouragement to Christians in an effort to foster spiritual growth.

Founded in 2020 by Jesse Turkington, Parable Ministries was fashioned from his personal passions. It is his belief that teaching, counseling and encouragement are the three elements of personal growth. Through teaching, one learns knowledge. Through council, one learns application. Through encouragement, one is established.

Parable Ministries strives to offer support and guidance for this personal growth, especially personal growth in spiritual matters. It is our desire that every man, woman and child come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and dedicate their lives to His teachings.

Our Beliefs

At Parable Ministries we hold to the historic, orthodox Christian confession that God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ came to rescue mankind by living, dying and living again. He lived a righteous life and died for those who were in sin. Miraculously, He was raised back to life by the Holy Spirit. He now offers life to those who believe and follow Him.

We believe that the Holy Bible is authoritative and that it was written by God through men for mankind. God worked with human authors to give us wisdom about the salvation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

Choosing to let the Bible speak for itself, we are confident that the story of the Bible and the message of Jesus has the power to transform any who embrace it, from individuals to entire societies. We seek to have a biblical worldview and promote the unified message of the Bible.
